Madeleine Goldin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who graduated with her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 2014. Ms. Goldin works primarily with older children, teens, and young adults and has experience evaluating and treating anxiety, depression/mood disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), behavioral problems, and trauma. Her approach is to empower children and families to use their strengths and resources to grow, heal, develop healthy coping strategies, and improve communication. Additionally, her goal is to work with families to minimize barriers and to achieve lasting improvement and developing the skills necessary to face stressors and life’s challenges in effective ways.
Ms. Goldin uses a multimodality approach based on the needs of her clients. Through strength-based, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and trauma focused approaches, she works collaboratively with each child and family’s individual goals. She is also trained in an evidenced-based parent training modality, Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT).
