Julie Wilson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who graduated with her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Cardinal Stritch University in 2009. Ms. Wilson has previous clinical experience since 2012 working in inpatient psychiatric, emergency department, partial hospital and outpatient settings. She has experience evaluating and treating children, adolescents, and adults and has experience evaluating and treating anxiety, depression/mood disorders, eating disorders, behavioral problems, and addictions. Her holistic approach involves empowering children and families to use their strengths and resources to grow, heal, develop healthy coping strategies, and improve communication.
Ms. Wilson uses cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and solution focused treatment approaches. She works in our collaborative partnership with the Port Washington School District providing psychotherapy to elementary-school-aged students.
